Always evolving, the body of my work is fueled by the challenge of the moment. The movement of a bubble before the pop… The reflection, the manifestation of light, the depth of field, I thrive in these confines and continue searching beyond the boundaries.
Photography is a reflection of a moment captured in time. Exploring the challenges and my passion of photography has led me into the studio, natures playgrounds and city streets - places to stretch myself. Photography is my spiritual medicine that feeds the dreamer, documenter and the inquisitive nature that drives me to seek out and capture our shared spaces.

Cyndi Bemel was born in Denver, Colorado. She studied at The Evergreen State College, University of Washington and The American Film Institute. She lives and works in South Pasadena, California.
