Searching for the light, shadows and textures, I venture through streets, backsides and then wander inside. Working in black and white is liberating, giving me the freedom to convey the world I see with an air of fantasy and mystery. No need to stay within the confines of the coloring line. It is so much simpler as there is more to see than just the colors.
“To see in color is a delight for the eye but to see in black and white is a delight for the soul.” – Andri Cauldwell
