tintypes
Tintype: (n) also known as a melainotype or ferrotype, is a photograph made by creating a direct positive on a thin sheet of metal coated with a dark lacquer or enamel and used as the support for the photographic emulsion. (Wikipedia) One of the most popular forms of photography in the late 19th century. I'm intrigued by the timeless antique expression and richness it has on images, even though these are all processed digitally.
